Season's Greetings!
Just popped in, with hopes of sparking some creative mojo!! OMG - I have so much that I want to do, but don't quite have the mojo to pull it all together, just yet.
My family has had a couple of unexpected issues come up; and these took priority over all other things, including time to craft. Now that things are settling down, I'm feeling drained from always being "on the go"! Nonetheless, this is the most wonderful time of the year, especially for crafters, and I refuse to be left in the dust. LOL.
I decided to try my hand at making wreaths this year. My hope is that I will be making them throughout the year, for any season or occasion, and in any colors. Of these three, the pink one is my favorite! IJS...

Twisted Thursday
Happy Friday!
I'm here to share some exciting news with you! Yours truly was invited to be a guest designer for Outlawz Challenges -Thursday Twist! It felt great to be part of such a wonderful, supportive group of crafters. This week's challenge is "anything goes", with the twist of using BOWS, BUTTONS & BRADS. Now, the bows and buttons were pretty easy for me; however, this challenge made me realize that I need to re-evaluate my stash of brads! LOL. Nonetheless, I was able to make a card, using the color scheme from the Tuesday Color Challenge.
I appreciate the opportunity to be the guest DT for this week; and hope to possibly become a more permanent fixture on that team.
Thanks for stopping by my little world of crafty happiness!
Wishing you a safe and blessed Thanksgiving!

80th Birthday Album Completed
Hello good people!
It's been a while since my last post; but I cannot apologize for it! LOL. I took a much-needed vacation and rested my brain! I prayed that my mojo would return to me, full force, so I can finish this year with a nice stash of cards, albums, or whatever God would have me to work on.
My sista, Cassie, and I decided to stow away for a few days earlier this month, to just craft to our hearts' content! As a result, I was able to finally finish my mom's 80th Birthday Celebration album, which was also my very first Kathy King project!! As you may recall, I started working on this project around Christmas, and put the photos in during the Spring retreat in Massanutten. Well, I realized that I also needed to make the storage box, so mom could showcase her gift, without damaging the actual book. Here's the end result.

Amped up for August!
Hello Everyone,
I can't believe that the summer is coming to an end already; and our kids are getting ready to go back to school!
As you may know, I've been in a minor creative slump these past few months. I believe it is mainly b/c the cares of life and hectic scheduling have overshadowed my crafting time. My craft area, affectionately nicknamed "The Lounge", has been longing for my company. So, I need all of my crafty Christian friends to stretch their hands towards this post, and whisper a prayer for "restoration and elevation of creativity"!!! :-)
As I am patiently awaiting the miraculous shift of creativity, I challenged and pushed myself to complete my first diaper creation (can't really call this one a "cake") - A Diaper Tricycle!!! My crafty sista teased me about just jumping out there with this assignment - LMBO!!
Nonetheless, here... it ... is... from start to finish! TFL.
BTW - I did the little favors (bottles), too! The client and recipients were pleasantly surprised with the finished product!
'Til next time...

July is Jumping!!!
Hello, hello, hello!
It's me again, here to post some bridal party tees that I finally completed. Now, there is a quick crafty, nightmarish story behind these shirts...
I was originally approached about these shirts back in May, but we didn't finalize the customization until June. I thought the order needed to be done my the end of July; but I found out the hard way that I was a week off!! OMG. I dug in, like we crafters do, under a tight deadline; and everything seemed to be working out, until... the word "Bridesmaid" would not cut for 3 of the 5 shirts!! WTW?!!! I changed the font 4 times, and I still could not get a clean cut. Well, I ended up not delivering the finished shirts as anticipated; but was able to finally work some crafting magic to get them done before the wedding. I told the client that I felt so bad about missing the original deadline, that I was willing to take the loss. Nonetheless, here are the finished tees.
Thanks for looking. These are also posted on my FB page - Taylor-Made Creations.

2 Quick cards
Happy Tuesday!
I can't believe I'm back here so soon!! LOL. I was asked to do a last-minute card for my husband's co-worker (birthday); and I made a special birthday card for my Bishop's mom - who happens to love everything that sparkles and blings!!
Thanks for looking.

Summer Activities
Hello there!
Thanks for bearing with me, as I am still struggling to reconnect with my "MOJO"!! This has been an ongoing battle for some time now, and I hope and pray that we are reunited really soon!! I have lots of project ideas that pop into my head; but the struggle is real when it comes to getting those ideas out on paper (designed and completed)!!! 😔 Soliciting all crafty prayers...
In the midst of the struggle, I was asked to do a few special order, quick turn around projects, as shown below.

Make it Marvelous in May!
Greetings Crafty People,
WARNING: Long Post...
May is such a wonderful month, especially for crafting! National Scrapbook Day was May 5th; Mother's Day was on May 14th; and Memorial Day is right around the corner. May also marks the end of the school year, and the beginning of Summer break, for many students. This month, I attended my first scrap house retreat - and it was wonderful!! I am already looking forward to the next one!! LOL.
I was able to present the album to my mom on Mother's Day; and although I still have a few minor embellishments to add, she loved it!! I'm so excited to have completed my first KK project!! I used a couple of designer paper stacks to complete this project - Paper Studio "Black Tie Optional" and "So Glam".
Thanks for visiting and leaving a little love!

While on this retreat, I had the daunting task of completing my very first Kathy (Orta) King project - The Everyday Life 8x8 album. I made this album for my mom to showcase the pictures from her 80th birthday celebration last November. My intentions were to have it done by last Christmas; but reality set in, and I targeted Mother's Day 2017 as the delivery date. Now, anyone who has visited this blog knows that I tend to be a slow and steady crafter - and deadlines tend to drive me into a crafting frenzy! LOL. Nonetheless, I pulled it off (for the most part)! Yay me!! I had my sista' Cassie cheering and pushing me along. The end result...
Thanks for visiting and leaving a little love!

Mojo ---MIA!
Happy March, Crafty Peeps!
This is my favorite month of the year, because it's my birthday month!! LOL. I was hoping to have a few great projects to post today, but sadly, my mojo has taken a vacation, and left no forwarding address. I will post a project that I missed in my last post, though. I love this project because it incorporates to of my favorite things - paper and vinyl!
The card sketch was from Pinterest! The Paper is from DCWV - Linen Closet stack.
Now, I'm challenging myself to get some cards done this weekend, and hoping to have something new to post early next week. Until then - have a great weekend!

Mojo Monday #485
Greetings and Happy Saturday!
JCI to post a couple of birthday cards that I finished in celebration of DH's 50th birthday. One card is from me, and the other is from the kids. The card from the kids was made using the Mojo Monday sketch #485. The great thing is that I was able to find a birthday verse that matched the theme of the card.
The other card that I gave DH was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. I liked the idea of counting down the age change... and I love using vinyl on paper.
That's it, for now. TFL.
Til next time.

New Year, new opportunities!
Happy New Year!
It's been a while since my last post; and I've been busy fighting illnesses (whole house and work), handling life issues, and meeting project deadlines!
The scripture says, "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men." Prov 18:16. In 2016, my Bishop commissioned me to make birthday cards for members' birthdays! Well, that seems to have worked out well - so well, that I've been asked to do cards for 2017!!! I shared this with a co-worker, who shared the information with her ministry; and now I've been commissioned to make cards for them!!! I am so grateful for the opportunities to create handmade cards to be a blessing to others.
In addition to the cards, I am working on a special gift (belated and all) for my mom; and I can't wait to present it to her. Hint: It's one of Kathy King's "Everyday Life" projects (http://paperphenomenon.com). Stay tuned! Here's a sneak peek...
Here are a few of the cards that I've completed, thus far... (design inspirations/sketches via Pinterest).
And here are the special request candy jars that I did for a good friend...
Thank you for stopping by! Feel free to leave a little blog love, too, please!
